So sorry I haven’t been posting in a while but, life has been a bit mental as of late. I have a huge backlog of products to get through! Some of the photos are really bad and old but from 2016 we will be back on it! Anywhoo let’s get to it!
For the past 6 months I’ve been using the Catrice Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder, I got mine in the medium shade 030. I adore Catrice products. I know it’s hard to tell since I have little or no review up, but I swear I really do! In the summer I went for more of a shimmer bronzer but in the last month I’ve favoured this one again! To start I love the Sun Glow impression on the product! I think a lot of higher end products do this but not that many drugstores, it gives a more luxurious look.
For the product itself, it’s really silky. I know that’s an odd thing to say about a powder product but it’s true! It sort of glides onto the skin. It has what I would call a medium pigment, to me this is not a bad thing as with bronzer less is more. I sweep my brush along the product and tap off any excess. When I was on the medication my skin wasn’t as oily as normal so I would apply the bronzer straight over my foundation. With some powder bronzers this can be a nightmare but with this one it actually worked really well. It was easy to apply and easy to blend out.
I like to use this as my contour, but I can also use it to bronze myself up a bit too. I don’t often do that but it’s an option. It’s a real mid tone bronzer so I think it would be great for all skin tones. I have to say I’m never disappointed with Catrice products.
