I saw So Sue Me using this pallet, and others, so when I was at the RDS beauty show I was straight over to the crown brush stand. I’m a bit confused about why it’s called a contouring palette, I think it’s more like 21 eyeshadows and 5 blushes, but sure what do I know. That’s how I’m using it. I’ve been using this palette for the past few months, I’m currently sticking to the browns but loving all the colours and can’t wait to do a few new looks for spring / summer 2015. The pigmentation in this pallet is really amazing and the ones I’ve used so far are really easy to blend. There is a mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. The colours in the palette are well chosen and really complement each other, saying that there are a few colours that I will probably never use but sure there is always ones you use more than others. The pallet itself is lovely and slim so it can be easily added to the suitcase when traveling but it is wide so it’s not something you’ll be putting in your bag for a night out. The “blushes” are colours I’d never go for but I’m testing the out slowly, I’ve actually fallen in love with the third from the left. It’s really buildable so I tend to put it on light and then add more if I want to. I have used the blushes as eyeshadows too and they work great, I try not to get to bogged down by what an item is for but tend to try out different things if I feel I want to. I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to order this from online but if I was at a show again and they had a stand I would defiantly invest in another palette.
