I’m a fan of eyeshadow, aren’t we all. I wear eyeshadow all day everyday! I work in what my sister calls a client facing role, and I pride myself on looking smart and put together. I favour a good nude / natural palette! I’ve never been a huge fan of like super colourful colours on my eyes (even though I am trying to move that way a bit more) so when a new nudie palette comes out I’m all over that!
I actually have no need for another eyeshadow palette but I have never really tried out L’oreal eyeshadow so when I saw this one I said to myself, “sure I need that to blog about’ ha ha, sure thats why I need everything in my life. They came out with two different palettes, I chose the ROSE one as I didn’t really have anything with similar colours so it didn’t feel so bad and un-nessisary. Anyway I’m babbaling now.
The colour range is very pretty, light brown, pinks, corals, most of them are very sort of dusty and nude with a few coming in stronger darker colours. The pigmentation isn’t amazing, its odd because when I did the swatches it was amazing but when I use them with my brushes its a bit lighter but, I think for everyday it doesn’t need to be! They are buildable, and there isn’t much fall out, unless you go mental with them that is… There are 10 colours altogether. I seem to favour numbers 3,5,6,7 and a bit of 9! I use number 3 as my all over base, 7 in the crease, 6 and 9 as the corner crease colour depending on my mood and 5 all over the lid.
The packaging is clean, neat and practical! It’s nothing special like but it also doesn’t offend. It has a lovely big mirror and comes with a brush that has a sponge applicator on one end and a brush. I wouldn’t be reaching to use it but if you were very very stuck you could get away with it.
I think it’s a great little palette but I’m not sure I’d invest in it again. I would advise if you want to dip into the beauty thing defo give it a go.
Let me know how you get on.
