Collection 2000 Killer Curves

Mascara is something I feel that most of us could not live without. A couple of weeks ago @BeautyHourIE asked us on twitter “if stranded on a desert island what three things would you take”. Mascara was a top one!

Mascara is definitely one thing I use every single day of my life. I’ve been trying out loads to see what I like the best, expensive ones, cheap ones, crap ones and run of the mill.

The one I’m going to be chatting about this week is Collection 2000 Killer Curves Mascara. It wouldn’t be the typical type of mascara I’d go for. It did say everything I wanted to see/hear on the packaging but the wand was not one that I like. It did however grab my attention and for less then €5 I thought to myself, it could be the holy grail of all mascaras so just try it.

The wand is an odd shape with a deep dip in the middle and curved up at the top. This type of wand just didnt do it for me. I personally found it difficult to use, a bit pointless and at times annoying.

In saying that. The product itself was good enough. Not the holy grail as I’d hoped but, if you were make up shopping on a budget I’d definitely consider it. It coated my lashes well and gave a very soft, fluffy , and natural look to my lashes. It lasted well, didn’t do that flaky thing that some mascaras can and it didn’t feel heavy on the lashes.

It just didn’t blow me away. And the wand just wasn’t for me. It also did this smuggy thing under the bottom of my eye that I sometimes get from mascaras.

All in all not a terrible product but I personally won’t be purchasing it again.

Have you tried any good mascaras lately? Leave me a comment I’d love to hear your toughs.
