Real Techniques On The Go Glow Brush Set || MagpieMagpie Blog

08/09/2019

Hi Lovelies. Today we are back to make-up, but with a twist, brushes, Real Techniques On The Go Glow Brush Set to be exact. Brushes are something I have a small bit of an obsession with. I don’t have a huge collection, although I think I can assume it’s bigger than some. As you guys know I wear a full face day in day out. So there’s usually a few top up bits in my bag. I’ve had some random brushes over the years and loved them, but when I spotted this new kit from Real Techniques in Boots and I couldn’t resist.

Otosticks || MagpieMagpie Blog

18/08/2019

Hi Lovelies. I hope you guys are all fabulous. Let’s chat about OTOSTICK. If you’ve been following since the beginning, you’ll know I’d LOVE to get my ears pinned back (and my nose done but that another story). I have no problem with cosmetic surgery, my feeling is that it’s your body you can do as you please. The only reason I haven’t gotten them pinned back are low funds, and my crippling fear of needles and Doctors.

OTOSTICK is a great alternative for those who want to try out the whole ear pinning if they aren’t sure. Or who don’t have the funds. They are quick, easy and last. Once you get the hang of it that is! You’ll probably end up going through two boxes before you get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect!

I tend to apply them after I’ve had a shower and washed my hair. I scrub the area clean, get all of my hair out of the way, and then clean the area again with antiseptic. Always make sure the area is dry before application. Before you  remove the protective cover, try playing around with it. See where you think might be best to apply it.

Birthday Wish List 2019 || MagpieMagpie Blog

16/03/2019

Hi Lovlies,

Apologies I haven’t written in a while.

After nearly two weeks of sickness, and about a month of being very low,  I’m starting to feel more like myself again. So of course I thought to myself, why not get on here and torture myself with things I want, and will likely not get. Who doesn’t love a wish list?! As my birthday is in a few days I thought I’d start a tradition and do a birthday wish list every year! Hopefully you’ll enjoy.

A Nice Candle

We all know a gift of a candle is greatly received. My favourites are Jo Malone, and Kota candles. Kota candles recently brought out a new range and I’m very keen on one. They have also introduced some new scents, and Happy Hour is right up my street.

Jewellery Design Course

One of my biggest passions is jewellery. Hopefully that comes across in my blog and IG. After deciding to change careers I swore to myself, that even though I wasn’t working in jewellery anymore, I’d follow my passion for jewellery design. This will be my first step.

Stocking Fillers For Under £16

08/12/2018

Hi Lovelies,

I hope you are all have a fantastic lead up to Christmas. I’m back again with another stocking filler gift guide.

If you’ve read Sundays post, you’ll know that I’m really trying to up my stocking game! This post is very similar to the previous one but, the main difference is that I’ve upped the price and just given you one gift idea. I think as the years go on this type of post will evolve, so I’d love your thoughts in the comment section down below.

Also just to mention again, I’m based in Jersey CI so all my prices are based on the prices available to me here.

Lime Crime is a brand I’ve always wanted to try, but am never sure about it. That being said, if I was to receive one in my stocking I’d be pleased. I love me a winter berry colour so when i saw this one I knew it had to be in the post. Unicorns are really big right now too so even if it’s just for the package, you know you’ve bought something just for the packing, we’ve all done it, it’ll go down a treat. This little beauty comes in at £14.45

Collins’ Beach Cafe And Seaweed Baths

24/10/2018

Hi Lovelies,

Well I can tell you I’m glad that couple of weeks is over, and that this one is nearly over!! Sorry I missed you guys last week, and this Sunday, but I just couldn’t. It was just a couple of those weeks, ye know!

I think I’ve finally gotten back in the swing of Jersey life, well as much as someone like me can, and I’m ready to get back to blogging!

While I was home I had the pleasure of visiting the seaweed baths in Ballybunion. They are opens from the end of May till the mid September.  My mother is an avid visiter in the summer so I was quite excited.
